DERYA IŞIK was born on the 19th of October, 1982, in Izmir, Turkey. After completing her high school education at Private Avni Akyol College, she graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Business Administration, and completed her Master's degree in Business Finance at the University of Portsmouth in England, UK.
Having worked in various Business sectors for sixteen years and continuing to do so actively, Derya Işık also earned a Master’s degree in Organizational and Industrial Psychology from Istanbul Bilgi University with high honors, and continues to pursue her education.
In addition to her position as Manager of IŞIK PSİKİYATRİ Clinic, Derya Işik is also a bilingual native speaker of Turkish who is fluent in English at an advanced level; she has been married for nine years, and is the mother of one lovely daughter. Last but not least, Derya Işik is a proud Izmir woman, a lover of Atatürk, and a devoted fan of Galatasaray!
